17.How my trailer uses genre conventions.

 My trailer strongly follows the conventions of the psychological thriller genre, which I identified during my research. One key convention is the use of fast-paced editing, which I applied in the later part of my trailer to build tension and excitement.

I also used low-key lighting to create a dark and mysterious atmosphere, which is typical of thriller films. Close-up shots were used to show the character’s emotions, helping the audience connect with the narrative.

Sound played an important role, as I used a slow build-up of music that increases in intensity. This is a common convention used to create suspense and anticipation.

By including these conventions, my trailer meets audience expectations while still allowing me to add my own creative elements.
